Overview of Course
This course explores the fundamental concepts and strategies involved in managing business operations across international borders. It provides students with an understanding of the global economic environment, cultural dynamics, international trade and investment, global marketing, international finance, and strategic management in multinational enterprises. Students will examine how businesses adapt their operations, leadership, and decision-making processes to different political, economic, and cultural environments. Emphasis is placed on analyzing international market entry strategies, global supply chains, risk management, cross-cultural communication, and ethical considerations in global business. All of the course is catered to the national contexts of each country visited on the journey with local case studies and discussions on the experiences through each visit. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of international markets and lead effectively in a global business context.
