Why Become a Semester at Sea Affiliate?
An affiliation with Semester at Sea provides a formal relationship between your institution and Semester at Sea that will allow us to better serve your students, faculty, and staff. The goal is to better promote and facilitate student participation in study abroad and to provide financial and advising support for students joining our voyage. Please note that a formal affiliation is not required for students from your institution to participate in Semester at Sea. If you are interested in becoming an affiliated partner, please contact your Regional Director.

Financial Benefits
An affiliation agreement allows for the ease of financial aid and scholarship transfer from your institution to our program.
Course Transfer
An affiliation may also streamline the transfer of credits from Colorado State University to your institution. Students earn up to 15 course credits accredited through Colorado State University.
Close Relationship
As a Semester at Sea affiliate, you will have a close working relationship with our staff, allowing both organizations to have a better understanding of each other’s policies and ensuring an open line of communication about program updates and your enrolled students.
